We are delighted to be working with Ambatovy, a mining company based in Madagascar, to support their employee engagement efforts, including upfront focus groups, a colleague-wide survey with reporting analytics, and action planning. The survey is aimed at 3,000 colleagues to align, educate, and inspire a more positive and mature outlook on life and culture at Ambatovy.
Working across multiple job roles and three languages (Malagasy, French, and English) in a high-safety-regulation culture, the Vibe team will customise their well-honed process to identify the heart of all cultural strengths and development areas.
The Vibe team will work closely with key stakeholders and leaders to consult and coach on how to effectively mobilise the findings, kicking off with an in-person, week-long face-to-face meeting in Madagascar in February 2023. We are very much looking forward to visiting this beautiful country and meeting the teams.
Ambatovy is the largest mine in Madagascar, extracting significant quantities of nickel and cobalt. Ambatovy is the largest investment in Madagascar’s history. The mine employs 10,000 people, of whom 8,000 are Malagasy, and provides 27 per cent of the country's tax revenue.
